Anti computer virus tips and advice
Are you exposed? Don't surf the Net, download files or open email attachments without the latest defense against more than 67,000 known viruses and the 300 new ones discovered every month.
It is essential now to be running an anti virus system to protect your computer if you use the internet at all. These are what we consider the best systems currently available. There are also a few basic steps that you can take to protect yourself without using software, but I would highly recommend getting a decent anti virus system as well.
There is nothing worse than that sinking "cold sweat" feeling you get when you realised you've just opened an email attachment that you really didn't want to, trust me, I've been there more than once...
It's why I now run two PC's, one of which is kept totally secure by being seperate from the internet.
